How does the robot deal with loose cables from appliances or computers?

Accepted Answer

It may happen that, despite the cable winding prevention function, the robot winds the cable with a rotary brush. The robot usually copes well with ordinary cables, but thin cables from phone chargers etc. are particularly susceptible. We therefore recommend that you take care that the vacuum cleaner does not come into contact with such cables during cleaning. You can cover the cables with a strip or pull them together with tape into larger ropes.

Will the robot vacuum cleaner fall down the stairs?

All Robzone vacuum cleaners are equipped with anti-fall sensors, so they will not fall down the stairs. As soon as they detect them, they change direction and avoid the stairs. But watch out for aluminum or stainless steel stair treads, this can sometimes confuse even the robot's smart sensors. In this case, we recommend using a virtual barrier or magnetic tape.

Therefore, as soon as they start to run out of energy during cleaning, they automatically search for a charging station, recharge their energy, and then continue cleaning. Cleaning is therefore never limited by time, but is governed by the obligation to successfully complete the assigned work.

What kind of furniture can a robotic vacuum cleaner clean under?

Robzone robotic vacuum cleaners can move freely under any furniture. The only limiting parameter may be the height of the furniture. Therefore, for a robotic vacuum cleaner, always calculate its maximum height stated in the technical parameters plus 1 cm extra so that it can move freely and not get stuck anywhere.

Can a robotic vacuum cleaner also clean a high carpet?

We strongly do not recommend using a robotic vacuum cleaner to vacuum carpets with a pile length of more than 1-1.5 cm. However, some types of robots can handle longer pile well.
